Accommodation and Local Interest

Tumbling Banks is a simple, rural self-catering holiday cottage. It sleeps up to four people and can accommodate a baby or small child in addition.

The attraction of this property is that residents have access to a heated outdoor swimming pool in the summer months and a tennis court is available to use by prior arrangement with the owners.  Dogs are welcome and can be walked in fields in which there are no sheep or cows. Parking is easy, and there is high speed Wi-Fi.  Rockcliffe Beach is nearby as are extensive coastal walks. The start of one of the Seven Stanes bike trails is very close with access from Colvend.  Two horses are resident on the farm, Joey and Bear.  Coarse fishing for perch and pike can be organised on the farm’s waters. Tumbling Banks is one mile from the local shop at Colvend.  Kippford and other villages house good restaurants and bars.
